An important letter regarding 2024 Attendance Dues and Catholic Special Character Contribution, is attached below. Please click on the link to read this important letter from Bishop Michael. Please note: if you are experiencing hardship (loss of income/redundancy, family reasons, etc.) and need some financial support you are encouraged to approach your Parish Priest or Principal, to discuss your circumstances.

Those in Rimu and Kauri will be used for our morning tea afterwards and all others sold at the bake sale. A table will be set up in the foyer for you to put your plate on. Uniform
The 1st term 2 Uniform order should arrive this week. We will let you know when it is available at school.
The next order is due in TOMORROW, Friday the 16th June. Please note as last time we are experiencing a longer turn around currently so please factor this in when ordering. If it's urgent let us know and we will do what we can for you.
Those waiting on boys winter knee highs, these have arrived and we will get them to you asap.
Also just a quick reminder that our lovely office administrator is just new and currently doesn't have uniform info.
Please direct uniform questions to our email addresses or messenger on FB. If it is incredibly urgent or you feel something has been missed, please contact Sam 0274696007.
Whittaker’s Chocolate Fundraising
A friendly reminder your child should have come home with an opt out form for the Whittaker's fundraiser. Please complete form and drop to office or email us to OPT OUT by TOMORROW, Friday 16th June. We really appreciate your help in selling the chocolate bars and every dollar helps towards the new scooter/bike track.
Chocolate will be given out Monday, along with an information sheet. If you need more than one box, please get in touch.
Family Donation
Just a reminder that we have the swimming lesson family grant still available.
We also have the donation of one term of swimming lessons to one child. We feel that it is so important for our children to have confidence in the water and participate in after school activities. We also understand that these things can come with a large cost so we are hoping this can help many families. The swimming lessons will be available at both The Kaiapoi and Rangiora pools and this is valid for whole year, it does not need to be used straight away.
If you would like to apply for this, please see Trish McKendry and ask for an application. This is handled very discreetly with only Trish knowing the recipients so please don’t be afraid to apply. You have until the end of each term to apply. It takes a village, and we are very happy that we can offer this to our school community.
Breakfast Club/Lunch donations
We are very fortunate to get items from Food Satisfy and the Kickstart Breakfast Club programme for our students. We however are running short on pantry lunch staples, such as chips, muesli bars etc. If you can help, please drop into the office. Thank you for your help.

Wednesday 28th June 6pm PTA Meeting, all welcome.

Did you know we have Music Lessons @ St Patrick's School?
Looking to learn an instrument?
NZ Modern School of Music works with our school's students (and parents, too!) to offer music lessons in a variety of instruments including piano, guitar, ukulele, recorder, drums, voice, violin, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and many more!
The Year 4-8s are very excited to have started Production rehearsals and auditions. A big thank you to whānau who have supported their dreams at home. But we don’t want the adults to feel left out! We are keen to hear from any of you who have talents that could help us with set building, props and set painting, costume and design. Our students are leading all the design elements, so the ability to interpret the vision of 8-13 year olds is a must You wouldn’t need to be available during the day, we know how busy everyone is...but if you can cope with having designs sent home, we’d appreciate it enormously!
In the meantime, please save the date: JULY 26th
Tickets will go on sale for Aladdin from Monday 26th June
$5 per ticket (pre-schoolers are free)
Matinee Performance @ 11am for our Year 1-3 Students & pre-schools @ the Rangiora Town Hall
Evening Performance @ 6pm for our School Community @ the Rangiora Town Hall
Congratulations to all of our place - getters in our St Patrick's School Cross Country! Thank you to Miss Conlan for all of your organisation!
